Personal Profile

We encourage applications from London-based graduates:

  • Academic Background — A degree in STEM, or a non-STEM discipline with a strong emphasis on logical thinking and complex reasoning.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset — A genuine passion for solving complex problems and harnessing emerging technology to deliver positive social impact.
  • Communication and Flexibility — Excellent communication skills (multilingual skills are a plus), confidence working both collaboratively and independently in complex customer-facing environments, and willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Values — Strong alignment with our company values.

As a small but growing organisation that strives to always put people first, creativity and innovation, enthusiasm, kindness, compassion and respect for colleagues, and a willingness to learn and grow with the company are all values that are infinitely more important to us than years of professional experience or deep technical expertise. The latter can always be taught and gained through project delivery, and we will invest in the successful candidate to cover any gaps in their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Please note: This is a customer-facing consulting role, not a software engineering or data science position. You will spend roughly half your time conducting technical research through stakeholder interviews, user workshops, and desk-based document and data analysis. The remaining time will be spent on systems and data modelling, process mapping, and contributing to digital strategies, target operating models, and technical design artifacts. Consequently, we are looking for someone with first-class communication skills who feels comfortable leading customer workshops and can apply their knowledge of technology, and logical thinking and complex reasoning skills, to improve our clients' digital capabilities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Technology Discovery — Assessing a customer's existing technology and data landscape by undertaking a structured review of their business processes, digital systems & applications, data & information flows, and in-house technical skills and capabilities. You will participate in and lead stakeholder interviews and workshops to identify user pain points and business challenges. And you will undertake data analysis, and complex systems & data modelling, to generate detailed process, data and information flow maps describing how data is consumed, processed, produced and shared between disparate systems and user groups. You will also perform gap, risk and root cause analysis to identify process and technology-related risks, issues, inefficiencies, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Systems and Data Modelling — Using modern architectural tools and approaches, such as Diagrams-as-Code, to model our customers' digital systems including how different components and services interact with each other. You will also develop visual and interactive blueprints describing how an organisation's data is structured, stored and related.
  • Strategy and Operating Models — Informed by the outputs of the technology discovery, contribute to the development of digital and data strategies, and new target operating models for our customers.
  • Solution Architecture — Gathering functional and non-functional requirements, supporting the development of high-level and low-level technical design documents, undertaking market research and engaging with vendors to support our customers with the procurement and building of new digital services.
  • Presales and Bid Support — Supporting internal presales efforts including developing case studies, building prototypes, bid writing, and delivering sales presentations.
Essential Skills
Technology
  • STEM or Analytical Degree — A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), or a non-STEM discipline with a strong emphasis on data analysis, quantitative research, or structured logic and complex reasoning (such as Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, Philosophy, or Quantitative Social Sciences).
  • Programming and Data Structures — Foundational knowledge of at least one programming or query language (such as Python or SQL) and basic data structures (such as arrays, lists and dictionaries) gained through academic coursework, personal projects, or practical experience.
  • Fast Learner — Proven ability to pick up new software, tools, methodologies and approaches quickly and independently.
  • Passion for Technology — Demonstrable interest in cloud computing, information management, machine learning, agentic AI and/or digital twin frameworks.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
  • Excellent Communication — Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Senior Stakeholder Engagement — Confidence to engage and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and customer leadership.
  • Active Listener — Ability to ask the right questions to understand a customer's business processes, user pain points, and technical requirements.
  • English — Full professional proficiency in English.
Problem-Solving and Mindset
  • Analytical Thinking — Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to demonstrate a structured, logical approach to breaking down business problems and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Detail-oriented — High attention to detail when reviewing technical documentation, handling data, and reviewing customer deliverables.
  • Initiative and Ownership — Comfortable taking ownership of tasks, working with minimal supervision at times, and proactively asking for help when issues arise.
  • Adaptability — A flexible mindset that thrives in a small team environment where day-to-day tasks can shift between customer meetings, data modelling and analysis, and strategy.
Nice to Have
  • Foreign Languages — Fluency in an additional language — particularly Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) or Japanese — is highly advantageous, but not essential.
  • Health and Social Care — A demonstrable interest in health and social care, and leveraging modern technology to improve patient outcomes.
  • Location — We are a fully remote company, registered in South-East London. To facilitate meet-ups in South-East London co-working spaces for collaboration, and training and development purposes, we have a strong preference for candidates based in Greater London — ideally within South-East London including Greenwich, Bexley, Southwark, or surrounding boroughs.
Salary and Benefits
  • Salary — Base salary between £27,000 - £30,000 per annum.
  • Pension — Workplace pension scheme (3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
  • Holiday — 25 days of holiday every calendar year (in addition to UK bank holidays).
  • Health Insurance — Non-contributory private medical insurance.
  • Mentorship — Direct founder mentorship.
  • Remote Working — Home-based with occasional UK travel.
Travel Requirements
  • Customer Travel — Though it is expected that you will be home-based most of the time, this role may require occasional travel to customer sites anywhere within the UK (project-dependent), and at times you may need to stay overnight in hotels. 100% of approved travel, accommodation and subsistence-related expenses will be reimbursed by the company.
  • Collaboration, Training and Team Days — Our staff meet periodically in co-working spaces in South-East London for collaboration, and training and development purposes. Employees are expected to cover all travel and subsistence-related costs associated with travelling for these purposes, with consideration and reasonable adjustments provided for those with disabilities.
Important Information
  • Right to Work in the UK — Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship). Proof of identity and Right to Work checks will be conducted prior to issuing an employment contract.

Please submit your CV and Covering Letter in PDF format (if you require an alternative format due to a disability or accessibility requirement, please let us know). Furthermore, please do not use artificial intelligence (AI) to write your covering letter, other than to check for spelling and grammar mistakes.

We would also love to hear how your personal values align with our own mission and values, as well as how you fulfil the essential skills required for this position.

In return, please be assured that we do not use AI to screen CVs or Covering Letters - we commit to reading all applications that are sent to us before the application closing date of 30th September 2026. If you have not heard from us within 30 days of submitting your CV and Covering Letter, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful in your application.

  2. Virtual Interview — The next stage is a virtual interview (via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet) with our Managing Director. Ahead of the interview, we will send you detailed instructions and preparation guidance so you know exactly what to expect and can perform at your best.

  3. In-person Interview — The final stage is an in-person interview with both our Founder and Managing Director. Ahead of the interview, we will send you detailed instructions and preparation guidance so you know exactly what to expect and can perform at your best.

  4. Conditional Offer Letter — The successful candidate will receive a non-binding offer letter confirming their role and responsibilities, salary, benefits, start date and other important information, conditional upon satisfactory references, proof of their identity, and their right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

  5. Identity and Right to Work Checks — As a responsible employer, we will verify the identity of the successful candidate, and their right to live and work in the United Kingdom.

  6. Employment Contract — Upon successful verification of identity and right to work in the United Kingdom, we will issue a formal contractually-binding employment contract to the successful candidate.

Data Protection

We will not share your personal data with any 3rd parties whatsoever. And we will not use your personal data for any form of first or third-party advertising. Furthermore, with the exception of the successful candidate, we will permanently delete all CVs and Covering Letters that we receive for this role within 6 months of their receipt. Please read our Recruitment Privacy Policy for further information.

By submitting your application for this role, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in our Recruitment Privacy Policy.
